There have been many paradigm shifts during this time, but we have been able to overcome all of them. Information systems are now important infrastructure that support society, enterprise, and the livelihoods of citizens. The Japanese and world economies remain in difficult circumstances and innovation through IT is required to rejuvenate them. From now on harmony with the global standard will be required of Japan. Our aim is to utilize IT to achieve a safe and secure society, transform the business models and the structure of industries, and strengthen Japanfs international competitiveness. We will also actively focus on individual development to encourage young people to enter the attractive field of IT engineering. We also want to show the world the ability of Japan to build high-quality information systems.h
